The Nike Zoom Kobe Bryant IV sneakers were recently introduced.  The Kobe 4 Low Top Basketball shoes weigh only 11.6 oz, lighter than the Nike Hyperdunk sneakers which every High School Basketball and Nike sponsored College basketball team currently wear. Nike recently re-released the Nike Air Penny II basketball shoe.  The sneakers feature a black and white upper, along with a blue outsole and Nike Air sole unite at the heel. The colorway is inspired by the colors of the Orlando Magic, which all of us recognize as the home of Penny Hardaway.  The Nike Air Penny II is a hoops shoe designed specifically for Penny Hardaway. It features a leather and synthetic combination upper for durability and stability on the court, plus a Phylon midsole for added air time and a visible heel air bag to rock your ride through the entire game. Lebron James recently led Team USA and the Redeem Team to Gold in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Lebron has been playing at the highest level and the Michael Jordan comparison is becoming more and more evident as Lebron gets better every year.

Reebok Omni Pump Hexride

Yao Ming and Reebok will be releasing Yao’s new sneaker, the Omni Pump Hexride. The shoe was created in celebration of the Olympics and includes some personal touches, such as his own signature logo.

Only 2,008 individually numbered pairs of the exclusive Pump Omni Hexride will be available starting today for all of China. In addition, coming soon, select retailers in the US and in Europe will carry the Pump Omni Hexride, however the collection will not be numbered in these markets.

Nike Hyperdunk 2015 Sneakers

The Nike Hyperdunk basketball sneakers were first worn by Kobe Bryant on April 10, 2008.  The Nike Hyperdunk 2015 sneakers will release on July 27, 2008.

The Nike Hyperdunk sneakers were inspired by the late 80’s movie character Marty McFly played by Michael J Fox in the film Back to the Future II. Looking at the Hyperdunk’s overall shape, distinctive heel counter and midsole, these features all hearken back to this original concept shoe.

As part of the launch, Nike will introduce limited Hyperdunk colorways leading up to the retail debut of the Hyperdunk. One of those limited products is the Hyperdunk 2015.

The Hyperdunk 2015 will continue this tribute to the original concept shoe by borrowing some of the iconic coloring that made the shoes so striking. The upper of the Hyperdunk 2015 features the same matte grey and white colors that appeared on the original. It also features the grey and teal speckled midsole that jumped off Marty McFly’s original footwear, as well as glow in the dark panels that give the shoe a futuristic feel.

Additionally the Hyperdunk 2015 will feature call outs to the film including graphics from McFly’s hover board on the sock liner and a few more subtle references for people to discover on their own.
